Meet Emily Bertrand, FNP
Emily Bertrand is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with specialized training in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She trained in the Washington, D.C. area, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing from Marymount University and completing her dermatology certification shortly thereafter.
She received an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at North Carolina State University before completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas. She was awarded the coveted Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the University of Arkansas. Emily is licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing and is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses Association.
Emily is a Dallas native and went to Lake Highlands High School, where she earned a reputation as a decorated volleyball player and was a two-time All-American. She still enjoys playing volleyball, along with Pilates and tennis. An avid dog lover, Emily has a sweet golden retriever named Beau.
Emily is passionate about skin health and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care. She specializes in acne, rashes, skin cancer detection, and non-invasive cosmetic procedures. She believes beautiful skin always begins with healthy skin.
